The PEI Aquaculture Alliance is pleased to announce that the new Aquaculture Technology Adoption Program (A-TAP) is now open for applications. Through funding from the Atlantic Fisheries Fund (AFF), a joint federal-provincial funding program, the A-TAP will enable PEI aquaculture businesses to increase product quality, overall productivity and/or sustainability through the adoption of new technologies.

Eligible applicants may receive a contribution of up to 70%, to a max of $69,999, for the acquisition of new equipment. Eligible activities must be new (not replacing existing equipment) and implemented or adopted in PEI. They should also reflect the industry sector priorities detailed in the Program Guidelines. Download the Application Form and Application Guidelines here.
